The Brief

The mechanical works for this office/warehouse refurbishment included the following:

• Installation of a new Toshiba comfort cooling to serve units 5,6 & 7
• The larger warehouse units have had air conditioning systems installed, these are standalone
  split type systems, with ceiling mounted cassettes installed in the suspended ceiling, and externally
  mounted condenser units on the brick wall at the front of the unit.
• Each warehouse unit has had a toilet extract twin fan system installed; the twin fan unit is
  located within the ceiling space above the tea point, which exhausts through the roof directly above the fan.
• The controls for the toilet extract fans is located above the ceiling in the tea point.
• Amend the refrigerant charge according to the pipe measurements
• Carry out a pressure and evacuation test on all the systems
• All testing for the air conditioning systems has been supported by accompanying documentation including certificates
• Drawings and an operation and maintenance manual were included as per the criteria
